MENU
Healthy, delicious and made with the freshest, responsibly sourced ingredients, our Tenkaichi menu is designed to give you a truly authentic taste of Japan. We have a wide range of freshly prepared Japanese food on offer – from the classic simplicity of fresh, tender sashimi, sushi and bento boxes to mouth-watering gyoza, teriyaki and hearty ramen noodles. Just pick whatever you fancy from our main menu, including vegetarian and vegan options, and enjoy!
We hand make every roll to order which makes them much lighter, fresher and tastier than anything you’ll find elsewhere
Add a few tasty side dishes to complement rice and main meals
Our traditional Japanese lunchboxes are the same as those enjoyed every day by workers and school children across Japan
What could be more Japanese than Rice? At Tenkaichi Cardiff, we prepare more than 60kg of rice every week
Is there anything more comforting than a warming bowl of noodles?
Either Yaki Soba or Spicy Yaki Soba would be our recommendation here.
Sashimi preparation is an art, that’s why our specialist Sashimi chefs are selected from amongst the best in the business.
Our recommendation is to order either of our ‘nigiri platter’s’ dependant on your preferences.
Similar to Maki, Hosomaki (Japanese for ‘thin rolls’) is smaller and usually made with single fillings rather than combinations.
To give your meal a real burst of flavour and that authentic Japanese touch, why not give them a try?
We suggest Asahi Beer, a crisp, dry and very refreshing Japanese lager with good depth of flavour that pairs well with most dishes.
If you fancy something different, we highly recommend Mango Juice, which we think compliments our food perfectly.
It’s our Japanese Plum Wine which steals the show – we recommend you try it!
Our recommendation is Ozeki; its reasonably priced and has a lovely flavour.
We recommend you try the Konacha if you have never had it before – truly delicious and healthy too!
